Take that, James Joyce.

Natrix natrix, which to my knowledge was the first snake ever given a Latin name--by Linnaeus in 1758.

Bad news: it's a cold, soon-to-be-rainy day in Oxford, and I really need to start reading.

Good news: my mom's coming to visit in a few days. = free food and beer. = rental car to go herping.

  2. Oh the beer is a-flowin'. But it tastes much better when I don't have to pay ;)
